Hello. I'm Izzy, and this is my shop. I want to be honest and straightforward with you about what information I collect when you visit or buy from IZZYMEIMSAAB, how I use it, and how I keep it safe. I've written this in plain language because you deserve to understand it — not wade through legal jargon.

IZZYMEIMSAAB is operated by Izzy, a designer and maker based in the UK (moving to Goshen Farm, Karnataka, India later in 2026). Our store is built on Shopify, which powers the technical side of things.

2. What Information We Collect
When you visit or buy from our shop, we collect some information to make your experience work properly. Here's what that includes:
When you place an order:
● Your name, email address, delivery address and billing address
● Your payment details — these are processed securely by Shopify and Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
● What you ordered and your order history
When you browse our shop:
● Your IP address and device type
● Which pages you visit and how long you spend on them
● How you arrived at our shop (for example, from YouTube or Instagram)
When you contact us or sign up to our mailing list:
● Your name and email address
● The content of any messages you send us
We use cookies and similar technology to make the shop work and to understand how people use it. You can manage cookie preferences through your browser settings.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your information only for legitimate purposes. Specifically:
● To process and fulfil your orders, including arranging delivery
● To send you order confirmations, dispatch notifications and any updates about your purchase
● To respond to your questions or messages
● To send you our newsletter and product updates — but only if you've signed up for these. You can unsubscribe at any time.
● To improve our shop and understand what our customers love

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your information for anything other than what's listed above.
4. Who We Share Your Information With
To run this shop properly, we share your information with a small number of trusted partners:
● Shopify — our shop platform, which processes and stores order data on our behalf
● Stripe — our payment processor, who handles card transactions securely
● Royal Mail and other delivery services — who need your address to deliver your order
● Maria, our UK fulfilment assistant — who sees your name and address to pack and post your order. She sees nothing else.
● Email marketing tools (such as Klaviyo) — if you have signed up to our mailing list
All of these partners are required to handle your information securely and in accordance with applicable data protection law. We do not share your information with anyone else.
5. Digital Downloads
If you purchase a digital SVG file from us, your download is delivered automatically after purchase via a secure link. We retain a record of your purchase in case you need to access your files again. Digital products are for your personal use and may not be shared, resold or redistributed.
6. How Long We Keep Your Information
We keep your order information for as long as necessary to fulfil our legal and business obligations — typically up to 7 years for financial records, as required by UK law. If you have signed up to our mailing list, we keep your email address until you unsubscribe.
If you'd like us to delete your information sooner, please contact us and we'll do our best to accommodate your request within legal limits.
7. Your Rights
You have the following rights over your personal information:
● Right to access — you can ask us what information we hold about you
● Right to correct — you can ask us to correct inaccurate information
● Right to delete — you can ask us to delete your information
● Right to object — you can object to us processing your information for marketing purposes
● Right to withdraw consent — if we're processing your information based on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time
● Right to portability — you can ask for a copy of your information in a portable format

We take reasonable steps to keep your information secure. Our shop is built on Shopify, which is PCI-DSS compliant and uses industry-standard encryption. Payments are processed by Stripe, one of the most trusted payment processors in the world.
No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security — but we do everything we reasonably can to protect your information.
9. International Transfers
Because our shop is powered by Shopify (based in Canada and the USA), your information may be transferred and stored outside the UK or EEA. Shopify uses Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission to ensure your information is protected wherever it is stored. You can read more about this at privacy.shopify.com.
10. Children
Our shop is not intended for children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with their information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make significant changes, we'll let you know by updating the date at the top of this page. We recommend checking back occasionally.
